Has anyone imported a Defender recently? I'm eyeing a UK unit. Who's a good clearing agent who won't rob us?

Use Santhusha Clearing, Orugodawatte. I brought a 2010 Defender 110 through him. Smooth process, he knows how to handle RMV and customs. Total clearing took 4 weeks.

Another option is Dineth Freight Movers based in Katunayake. They cleared my 90 soft top last year. Even helped with the emission test. Just avoid brokers who promise "no duty" loopholes—pure bluff.
