Title: 90 Handling Like a Boat – Shocks Gone?
Post by: RoverRoshan on Jul 04, 2025, 11:02 AM
I've noticed the Defender 90 leans heavily during turns and feels very floaty on uneven roads. Is this a sign that the shock absorbers are shot? Or something to do with suspension bushes? Any recommended shock brands that can handle Sri Lankan roads?

Machan, heavy leaning usually means your shock absorbers are worn out or the suspension bushes are too soft. Both can cause that floaty feeling. For SL roads, many go with Rancho RS9000XL or KYB Gas-a-Just good durability and adjustable for load. Make sure to check the bushes too; replacing them alongside shocks gives best results.
