I came across this amazing reel of a Defender cruising through the misty hills of Ramboda.

Ramboda is one of the best routes for a scenic drive in the hill country, especially if you're into:

Tight bends & steep climbs
Waterfalls and tea estates along the way
That cool upcountry climate

I'm curious to know...

Has anyone here done a Defender trip to Ramboda?
Any route tips, good stop points, or camping spots to recommend?

Yes machan! I've actually done this exact route with my Defender 110 last year during the monsoon season 🌧�

Route we took: Kandy > Gampola > Ramboda > Nuwara Eliya

Tips:
Keep your brakes in check – those downhill slopes are no joke
Road can get slippery, especially near Ramboda Falls – mud tyres helped
We stopped near the Ramboda Tunnel and had the best view for drone shots
Great place to cool the engine and enjoy some local roti & tea 🍵

Honestly, Ramboda is a must-do trail for any Defender owner in Sri Lanka. Pure adventure vibes!
