Last post by RoverRoshan - Jul 11, 2025, 10:24 PMTry Mady's Garage, Gampaha. He swapped a 300Tdi into my TD5 last year. Had to tweak the mounts and wiring but he sorted it nice. Full job took 2 weeks. Highly recommend him if you want a clean install.

Last post by Bhagya_Sandun - Jul 11, 2025, 10:21 PMYeah machang, that's classic LT77 wear. Syncro rings probably gone. Happened to me on the way to Poonagala. Took it to efitechnics, Kurunegala he rebuilt the box with UK parts. Cost me around 85k with labour. Now it shifts like butter.

Last post by Shanuka - Jul 10, 2025, 08:32 PMChanged my 110's rear brake cylinders last weekend with basic tools and some patience. Bought the cylinders from a shop in Galle Road for Rs. 4,800 a pair.
Used a brick to hold the axle, a homemade flare nut wrench (cut from a ring spanner), and my Thaththa's old vice grips.
I'll post a full DIY guide if people are interested. Saved about Rs. 7,000 in labor!

Trail isn't too hard — mostly soft sand and gentle climbs near the beach. Will post GPX routes if anyone's interested. Anyone been recently? Is it still clean and safe?
