Last post by Offroad_Odyssey - Jul 04, 2025, 01:02 PM2.5 NA is reliable but yeah, top end is sluggish. If you want better highway drive and pulling power, 200TDI is a solid upgrade. It doesn't drop in perfectly though you'll need to modify engine mounts, adjust radiator/intercooler setup, and possibly change the gearbox crossmember. But it's been done plenty in SL. If your NA is healthy, keep it but if you're planning long trips or towing, 200TDI is worth it.

Last post by LankanTrailBoss - Jul 04, 2025, 10:22 AMYeah machan, that kind of low speed vibration is often a worn U-joint or slightly bent driveshaft. Check for play in the prop shafts even a small wobble can cause that. Also look at rear axle bushes and tyre flat spots if it's been parked long. Start with U-joints cheap and easy fix if that's the issue.
