Mcn, I'm thinking of dropping my 2.25 petrol and going for a diesel swap. Got offers for both 200TDI and TD5. I'll be using it for both weekend mud trips and daily town runs.
Which engine works best for SL conditions?

If you want reliability and less electronics, 200TDI all the way bro. Easy to repair, parts cheap.
But TD5 gives more power and smoother drive just make sure wiring is done proper.

If going off-road often and need torque, 200TDI is more than enough. But for daily, highway, TD5 smooth machan.
