Machanla, let's go back to the start. What was the first time you sat inside a Defender? Mine was in 1999. My uncle picked me up from school in a faded grey 110. I remember the door creaked open, the seat was rough, and the diesel smell filled the air. But that drive... magic.

Since then, I knew – one day I'll have one.

Aney bro, for me it was during tsunami relief work. NGO had a white Series III. Bumpy like a bullock cart but went anywhere. I was 17 and instantly hooked. Today I drive a TD5 – still reminds me of that feeling.
